BNI donates CFAF50 million to the Government of Côte d`Ivoire to help the country fight against the Covid-19

On Friday March 27, 2020, the Banque Nationale d’Investissement (BNI) donates CFAF50 million (about US$82,300) to the Government of Côte d’Ivoire. The check was given by BNI CEO Mr. Youssouf Fadiga to the Supervisory Minister, the Minister for Economy and Finance Mr. Adama COULIBALY, in his offices at the building SCIAM Plateau, Floor 19th.

This civic act is in line with the actions carried out by General Management of the Bank since the onset of this global health crisis. Thus, BNI, which has always been present in the greatest moments of the nation, could not remain indifferent to this surge of solidarity toward the Ivorian government in coping with the pandemic.

Besides, the host Minister was accompanied by the Director of his Cabinet, Ms. Fanta Coulibaly, and the CEO of BNI assisted by the Head of the Market, Marketing and Communication Department of the Bank, Ms. Maya Akre.

As a reminder, the health authorities of Côte d’Ivoire confirmed the 1st Covid-19 case in the country on March 10, 2020.
