Overview

In the rapidly evolving business landscape, the ability to innovate and strategically plan is crucial for maintaining competitive advantage. Organizations that prioritize Innovation set the foundation for sustained growth and adaptability.

Organisations and businesses are harnessing the innovative skills of their workforce to remain on top of the changing dynamics in the business environment. Innovation is the driving force behind progress in any industry. It involves generating new ideas, products and services, and better ways delivering services. Bringing innovative ideas to successful business that meets market needs defines good entrepreneurship; be it in the financial sector, service or production businesses, innovation is key, interwoven with entrepreneurship for success.

The training is specifically designed to build competence in developing the latent skills for innovation, idea generation and entrepreneurship. It will sharpen competence in identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and converting ideas to business.

  • Learn techniques and tools to stimulate creative thinking and generate new ideas, such as brainstorming, lateral thinking, and design thinking.
  • Identify entrepreneurial ideas with entrepreneurial thinking (entrepreneurial mindset, motivation, & behavior), seeing (industry condition, industry status, macroeconomic change, & competition) & acting (value innovation & opportunity identification).
  • Create innovative business models to effectively design value propositions, assemble and lead a well-comprised team, pursue big ideas that really matter to customers, and craft a financial model that minimizes risks and maximizing your success.
  • Explore the marketing of innovations by learning tactics to gather marketing research and customer intelligence, understanding the need for adopting a customer-orientation, and applying marketing strategies to dynamic environments.
  • Retool skills in financing strategies for innovation ideas, with an understanding of short-term finance alternatives, capital structures, cost of capital, sources of entrepreneurial capital including angel investors and venture capitalists, and alternative sources of capital.
  • Leverage digital technologies and tools to drive innovation and improve business processes.
  • Develop leadership skills to effectively lead innovation teams and projects.

Officials in Business Development, Strategy, Project, Investment, Credit, and Marketing in DFI, Development Banks, MFIs, Banks and other Financial Institutions, Entrepreneurs and MSMEs Agencies

Registration Fees

– AADFI members: 520€ (Five Hundred and Twenty Euros) per participant.
– Non-AADFI members: 620€ (Six Hundred and Twenty Euros) per participant.
