Workshop on Monitoring & Evaluation of Development Projects

Overview

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) has a substantial bearing on project outcomes as it helps to enhance the quality of the project and minimize the risk of project derailment and failure. It is the basis for successful project implementation. Detailed monitoring helps to ascertain whether a project is being carried out as scheduled and planned, while evaluation enables project managers to determine the extent to which a project goal has been achieved. M & E also help decide project variance from set goals and strategies for remaining on course. With good monitoring and evaluation, lessons learned in project implementation can be documented to improve future programs.

Besides, the Monitoring and Evaluation course will take the participants through measuring the development impact of projects implemented.
