At the 2025 Global Sustainable Finance Conference (GSFC) held in Germany on September 25, AADFI joined global partners to explore how technology-driven finance is reshaping development. A standout moment was Uganda Development Bank (UDB) receiving the prestigious Karlsruhe Sustainable Finance Award for Outstanding Business Sustainability Achievement. The Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) Kenya also earned Sustainability Standards and Certification Initiative (SSCI) Certification, while the Land Bank of South Africa enrolled in the certification process – highlighting the AADFI’s commitment to leading its members towards embracing holistic sustainability.
