Thabo Thamane, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency (CEDA), au Botswana, a achev\u00e9 son mandat de pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019AIAFD lors de la 51\u1d49 Assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale ordinaire tenue \u00e0 Abidjan, en C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire. \u00c9lu pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019AIAFD en juin 2019 lors de la 45\u1d49 Assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale ordinaire \u00e0 Malabo, en Guin\u00e9e \u00e9quatoriale. Son mandat a \u00e9t\u00e9 marqu\u00e9 par une transformation significative et des r\u00e9alisations notables dans la promotion de la mission de l\u2019Association. Il a su guider l\u2019AIAFD \u00e0 travers les d\u00e9fis pos\u00e9s par la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19, assurant la continuit\u00e9 de ses op\u00e9rations et de ses initiatives. En parall\u00e8le, M. Thamane a \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration mondiale des institutions de financement du d\u00e9veloppement (FEMIDE) de juin 2019 \u00e0 mars 2022. Durant cette p\u00e9riode, la FEMIDE et International Development Finance Club (IDFC) ont collabor\u00e9 avec d\u2019autres partenaires pour organiser le sommet mondial des banques de d\u00e9veloppement \u2013 le Sommet Finance en commun (FiCS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">M. Thamane a travaill\u00e9 en \u00e9troite collaboration avec le Conseil d\u2019administration de l\u2019AIAFD pour promouvoir le plaidoyer, les partenariats et la coop\u00e9ration, ce qui a entra\u00een\u00e9 une croissance remarquable du nombre de membres de l\u2019Association. Cette croissance t\u00e9moigne de la valeur croissante et de la pertinence de l\u2019AIAFD dans le paysage du financement du d\u00e9veloppement. La fin de son mandat a co\u00efncid\u00e9 avec la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration du jubil\u00e9 d\u2019or de l\u2019AIAFD en mai 2025, marquant la cl\u00f4ture d\u2019un chapitre important de l\u2019histoire de l\u2019Association. Conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 la tradition de l\u2019AIAFD, M. Thamane a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 Pr\u00e9sident d\u2019honneur.
