AADFI participated in the 10th anniversary celebrations of the Ghana Export-Import Bank (GEXIM) at the GEXIM@10 International Conference, held from March 25 to 26, 2026, in Accra, Ghana. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Represented by its Secretary-General, Cyril A. Okoye, AADFI contributed to high-level panel discussions on the evolving roles of export-import banks and development finance institutions in advancing industrialization, trade competitiveness, and economic transformation across Africa. In his intervention, the Secretary-General highlighted GEXIM\u2019s institutional journey, underscored the importance of resilient and sustainability-oriented DFIs, and emphasized the need for stronger collaboration and peer learning among African DFIs \u2013 particularly in the context of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and shifting global trade dynamics. AADFI\u2019s participation further strengthened institutional ties with GEXIM, reinforced the Association\u2019s strategic engagement with members and partners, and reaffirmed AADFI\u2019s role as a continental platform for advancing Africa\u2019s development finance agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
