The program, conducted in French, brought together development finance practitioners from across Africa to deepen their expertise in financing agricultural enterprises and value chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">As agriculture remains central to Africa\u2019s economic transformation, job creation, and food security, the need for innovative and effective financing solutions continues to grow. Yet agricultural lending is increasingly affected by climate change, weather-related risks, market volatility, and disruptions in global supply chains. Against this backdrop, the workshop equipped the participants with practical tools and approaches to better assess opportunities, manage risks, and support sustainable agricultural investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">The training brought together 32&nbsp;representatives from French-speaking African institutions. It provided valuable insights into common challenges facing agricultural finance across the continent, while highlighting emerging opportunities to expand access to finance and strengthen the resilience of agricultural value chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Participants\u2019 feedback underscored the workshop\u2019s relevance and practical value. They commended the quality of the learning methodology, the facilitators\u2019 expertise, and the direct applicability of the knowledge gained to their institutions\u2019 operations. The workshop provided an important platform for networking and peer learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">The successful delivery of this workshop reflects AADFI\u2019s commitment to strengthening the technical and operational capabilities of its member institutions.
