5 mars 2020. Le Conseil d'Administration de la Banque Ouest Africaine de D\u00e9veloppement (BOAD) s'est r\u00e9uni pour sa 116\u00e8me r\u00e9union ordinaire, sous la pr\u00e9sidence de M. Christian Adovelande, Pr\u00e9sident du Conseil d'Administration et Pr\u00e9sident de la BOAD. En raison des restrictions li\u00e9es \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie du COVID-19, la r\u00e9union s'est tenue par vid\u00e9oconf\u00e9rence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En ce qui concerne l'appui aux pays membres dans le cadre de la lutte contre le COVID-19 et sur proposition du Pr\u00e9sident de la BOAD, Pr\u00e9sident du Conseil d'Administration, le Conseil a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d'accorder aux pays membres de l'UEMOA des pr\u00eats concessionnels d'un montant de 120 milliards de francs CFA (15 milliards de francs CFA par pays) \u00e0 d\u00e9caisser imm\u00e9diatement ; ces pr\u00eats sont adoucis par le m\u00e9canisme de bonification d'int\u00e9r\u00eat reconstitu\u00e9 par la BCEAO et la Commission de l'UEMOA \u00e0 hauteur respectivement de 25 milliards de francs CFA et 15 milliards de francs CFA. Le Conseil d'Administration a \u00e9galement d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de suspendre les mises en demeure de remboursement du principal de 76,6 milliards de francs CFA dues par les pays membres pour le reste de l'ann\u00e9e, afin de les soutenir dans leur r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En outre, le Conseil d'administration a approuv\u00e9 plusieurs propositions de pr\u00eats dont les d\u00e9tails sont inclus dans un communiqu\u00e9 de presse publi\u00e9 en m\u00eame temps que cette d\u00e9claration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En cl\u00f4ture des travaux, le Pr\u00e9sident Christian Adovelande, au nom du Conseil d'administration, a remerci\u00e9 l'ensemble des acteurs pour leur mobilisation et a renouvel\u00e9 le soutien de l'institution aux populations touch\u00e9es ainsi qu'\u00e0 l'ensemble de la communaut\u00e9 scientifique qui s'est mobilis\u00e9e pour faire face \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie de coronavirus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
