Abidjan, July 6, 2021<\/strong> \u2014 The Association of African Development Finance Institutions (AADFI)\u2019s Secretariat is pleased to announce the commencement of the 2021 PSGRS Self-Assessment and Rating Exercise of African DFIs. The participating institutions are requested to submit their Self-Assessment results to the AADFI Secretariat not later than September 30, 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a reminder, the toolkit required for the self-assessment, comprising the Rating Questionnaire Worksheet, Summary Rating Score Sheet, Background Information, and Instruction Manual, is included in the PSGRS 2nd<\/sup> Edition brochure<\/a>,<\/span> downloadable via the Association\u2019s website at www.adfi-ci.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Importantly, following the recent reforms brought to the PSGRS Self-Assessment Process, the certified self-assessment results received by the Secretariat will now be cross-checked with information obtained from other sources, before the participating institutions be classified, listed on the Table of Honor, and received a Certificate of Compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides, the participating institutions with a compliance index of 80% or above will be eligible for the rating process. This stage of the exercise involves the evaluation of the institutions\u2019 development impact potential. At the end of the rating process, the institution that qualified for this stage of assessment will appear on the Rating Table under category A, B, or C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

African DFIs, particularly the national DFIs, are encouraged to fully participate in the 2021 exercise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
