The AADFI professional certificate program aims at enhancing skills and core competence in development finance operations. The program was developed in response to the dynamics of the development finance environment and to respond to the need of achieving sustainable development goals, through development banking activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-black-color has-text-color\">The French session was officially declared open by Mr. Abdelouahab Boushaba, Regional Representative for North Africa on the AADFI Board and Chief Executive Officer of Tamwil El Fellah (TEF)\/ Groupe Cr\u00e9dit Agricole du Maroc (GCAM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-black-color has-text-color\">In his remarks, Mr. Boushaba highlighted that \u201cthe program was designed to enhance knowledge and build core professional skills required in African development finance institutions in order to provide solutions that address development needs, and in delivering services for development projects towards achieving national development agendas in African countries.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-black-color has-text-color\">The participants in the PCP in French are drawn from DFIs in the French-speaking countries of the continent, and the program is being facilitated by the AADFI Faculty composed of experts with many years of experience and hands-on skills in development finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>About the PCP in Development Finance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-dark-black-color has-text-color\">The Professional Certificate Program (PCP) in Development Finance was first launched on October&nbsp;2,&nbsp;2017, by the then Chairman of AADFI, Mr. Patrick Dlamini,&nbsp; Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Development Bank of Southern Africa (<a href=\"http:\/\/dbsa.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"dbsa.org\">DBSA<\/a>), at the DBSA Vulindlela Academy in South Africa. The program is designed to enhance knowledge and build core professional skills required in African development finance institutions (DFIs).
